This was supposed to be 2-camera live studio shoot, but I was determined to make this look timeless. We went single camera with anamorphic glass and brought in practical lamps to fill the space. Those horns you hear at the beginning are real, there was a brass band rehearsing next door. I knew we’d made the right choice to forgo the standard 2-camera ask when clips of this video wound up in marketing materials for the Good Thing album cycle.
